Harmony Furman Artist StatementThe theme of entropy is prevalent within my work, using the microcosm of humanity as an example. Humans are characterized as unnatural in my work, contrasting with nature’s force, however they still have an impact on the planet. In my work I use acrylic, ink, water color, collage material, colored pencil and digital media to create dynamic compositions full of color and line that both glorify and beautify the morbidity of human extinction.
