Miguel Saludes, an MFA candidate at University of Florida, presented his thesis exhibition Open Conversations last week. Saludes paints from observation, working to capture the range of textures and slightest shifts of hue and light. The objects are mundane but Saludes imbues his paintings with intricacies that are invisible to most of us.
